# List payout approvals

`GET /v0/customers/{id}/payout-approvals`

## Request

The currency + rail + country combinations this customer may be paid out to. Only entries with status `approved` can carry a payment. Narrowed to the currencies and rails your organization is approved for; each combination reports the best standing across the payment setups able to settle it. Cached for up to an hour.

## Response `200`

The customer's payout approvals.

- PayoutApprovalsResponse
  - `payout` PaymentApproval[], required: Currency + rail + country combinations the customer may be paid out to.
    - `country` string, nullable: ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country the payout settles in, when the approval is country-specific. Always absent on pay-ins.
    - `currency` string, required: Currency the leg moves.
    - `rail` string, required: Rail the leg settles over, in Seismic's rail vocabulary — the same names accepted when creating an account or a quote.
    - `status` 'approved' | 'pending' | 'action_required' | 'rejected' | 'not_started', required: Where an approval stands, in the only terms a caller can act on. The verbatim upstream wording is preserved alongside as `status_detail` for operators who need the review stage.
    - `status_detail` string, nullable: The reviewer's own wording behind `status`, when there is one. Finer grained than `status` and not a fixed set — read `status` to decide anything, and treat this as a human-readable hint.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `404`: Customer not found.
- `503`: Approvals are unavailable on this environment.
