# List pay-in approvals

`GET /v0/customers/{id}/pay-in-approvals`

## Request

The currency + rail combinations this customer may be funded with. Only entries with status `approved` can carry a payment — quoting an unapproved one fails. Narrowed to the currencies and rails your organization is approved for, and each currency is answered by the payment setup configured for it. Approvals are cached for up to an hour, and a currency's own virtual-account review for 45 seconds to 5 minutes depending on where it stands, so a freshly granted approval can take that long to appear.

The customer's pay-in approvals.

- PayInApprovalsResponse
  - `pay_in` PaymentApproval[], required: Currency + rail combinations the customer may be funded with.
    - `country` string, nullable: ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country the payout settles in, when the approval is country-specific. Always absent on pay-ins.
    - `currency` string, required: Currency the leg moves.
    - `rail` string, required: Rail the leg settles over, in Seismic's rail vocabulary — the same names accepted when creating an account or a quote.
    - `status` 'approved' | 'pending' | 'action_required' | 'rejected' | 'not_started', required: Where an approval stands, in the only terms a caller can act on. The verbatim upstream wording is preserved alongside as `status_detail` for operators who need the review stage.
    - `status_detail` string, nullable: The reviewer's own wording behind `status`, when there is one. Finer grained than `status` and not a fixed set — read `status` to decide anything, and treat this as a human-readable hint.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `404`: Customer not found.
- `503`: Approvals are unavailable on this environment.
