# Create Segmentation

`POST /segment`

## Request

Create a new segmentation job.

Accepts an image file and queues it for segmentation processing.
Costs the configured per-job credit amount per segmentation.

Args:
    file: Image file to segment
    labels: Optional. Either:
        - JSON array of label strings: '["head", "torso", "arms"]'
        - Preset name: "spine", "live2d", "character_simple", "general_complex", etc.
        - None: uses the default "character_simple" preset
    preset: Optional preset name to store with the job (for export format selection)

Successful Response

- SegmentationResponse: Response when a segmentation job is created.
  - `job_id` string, required
  - `status` 'accepting' | 'pending' | 'processing' | 'completed' | 'failed' | 'cancelled', required
