# Permanently delete a post

`DELETE /api/posts/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.seenpaid.com`
- URL: `https://api.seenpaid.com/api/posts/{id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://api.seenpaid.com/authorize`, token URL `https://api.seenpaid.com/token`, scopes: `posts:delete`)

Delete a post and cancel any pending publishes. Cannot be undone — prefer POST /api/posts/{id}/cancel unless deletion is explicitly wanted.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

Deleted

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credential (API key or OAuth token).
- `404`: No resource with that id in the caller's org.
