# Put the real values back

`POST /restore`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://secureai.one/v1`
- URL: `https://secureai.one/v1/restore`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Applies a map in reverse. Use it on a model's reply so the reader sees what they actually wrote. An empty map is not an error: text with nothing personal in it round-trips unchanged.

## Request body

- RestoreRequest
  - `text` string, required: Usually your model's reply.
  - `map` object, required: The map from the matching /redact call.

## Response `200`

The text with real values restored

- Restoration
  - `object` 'restoration'
  - `text` string
  - `restored` integer

## Other responses

- `401`: No API key, or one that is not recognised
- `402`: No API access on this account, or out of balance. The code says which.
- `429`: 60 requests a minute per key, or a spending cap reached
