# Report a miss or a false positive

`POST /feedback`

## Request

Tells the scanner it missed a value, or redacted one it should not have, so the fix reaches every account. Only the shape is kept — which way it was wrong, the kind of characters, a length band and the word in front of it. The value and context are read once to work that out and are never stored. Send one report, or up to 25 as {"reports": [...]}.

Recorded. `signals` is everything that was kept.

## Other responses

- `400`: A report that is malformed, or more than 25.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `502`: It could not be recorded. Safe to retry.
