# Subsector Report

`GET /v2/subsector/report/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sectors.app`
- URL: `https://api.sectors.app/v2/subsector/report/`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Returns a comprehensive report for an IDX subsector, organized into distinct sections. Use `sections` to fetch only the data you need.

<Note>The `sub_sector` path parameter must be in **kebab-case** format. Get valid values from the [Subsectors](https://docs.sectors.app/api-references/v2/indonesia/helper-list/subsectors) endpoint. E.g. `banks`, `utilities`, `food-beverage`.</Note>

<Accordion title="Available sections">
- **statistics**: Company count, median PE, weighted avg PE, min/max PE
- **market_cap**: Total and avg market cap, quarterly market cap trend, mcap change (1w/1y/YTD)
- **stability**: Weighted max drawdown, weighted relative standard deviation
- **valuation**: Historical PB, PE, PS, PCF by year
- **growth**: Weighted avg revenue and earnings growth
- **companies**: List of companies in the subsector with key metrics

<Info>Costs 1 API credit per requested section. Default behavior (all 6 sections) consumes 6 credits.</Info>

## Response `200`

Subsector report with requested sections.

- object: Only requested `sections` are present.
  - `sector` string
  - `sub_sector` string
  - `statistics` object: Company count and PE distribution stats.
  - `market_cap` object: Total/average and quarterly market cap.
  - `stability` object: Weighted drawdown and volatility metrics.
  - `valuation` object: Historical valuation series.
  - `growth` object: Weighted average growth data and forecasts.
  - `companies` object: Top companies and top movers in the subsector.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request (missing slug or unknown section).
- `404`: No report data for the requested sub_sector.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded.
