# List workspaces

`GET /api/mcp/workspaces`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.searchable.com`
- URL: `https://app.searchable.com/api/mcp/workspaces`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

List the workspaces the API key can reach: your role in each, whether you can create projects there, and the key's projects in each. `POST /api/mcp/projects` takes one of these ids as `workspaceId`. A workspace with API access disabled is left out, and a project-scoped key sees only the workspace holding its project.

A list of workspaces.

    - `type` 'brand' | 'agency' | 'partner', nullable, required
    - `role` 'owner' | 'super_admin' | 'admin' | 'member' | 'viewer', required: Your effective role: ownership first, then your membership.
    - `canCreateProjects` boolean, required: Whether `POST /api/mcp/projects` accepts this workspace from this key: your role allows it, the key holds `project:provision`, and it is not bound to a project. Plan and quota limits are reported by that endpoint.
    - `projectIds` string[], required: The key's projects in this workspace.

- `429`: Rate limited. Usually the per-API-key REST limit (600 requests/minute); on Google-backed endpoints it can also relay an upstream Google rate limit. `Retry-After` (seconds) is present when the limit was applied by Searchable's own rate limiter; it may be absent when an upstream provider rate-limits.
- `504`: Error response. `code` is the machine-readable reason — see the [error reference](/api/errors) for the full catalog and remediation per code.
