# Get human traffic from AI assistants

`GET /api/mcp/projects/{projectId}/traffic/human`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.searchable.com`
- URL: `https://app.searchable.com/api/mcp/projects/{projectId}/traffic/human`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Human sessions that arrived FROM an AI assistant — total sessions and visitors for the window, the AI-referred share of them, and a per-platform split. The conversion half of the funnel that the crawler reports open. Returns 409 traffic_not_connected if no tracker/CDN/log source is connected.

## Path parameters

- `projectId` string, uuid, required

## Query parameters

- `days` integer
- `from` string
- `to` string
- `host` string

## Response `200`

Human traffic summary with the AI-referred breakdown.

- TrafficHumanResponse: Human sessions arriving from AI assistants. The summary and aiReferral halves can come from different sources — check summarySource.
  - `summarySource` 'beacon' | 'unavailable', required: `unavailable` means no first-party beacon is installed: every summary field is null and the AI figures came from GA4, which shares no denominator with it.
  - `summary` object, required
    - `totalSessions` number, nullable, required
    - `uniqueVisitors` number, nullable, required
    - `totalPageviews` number, nullable, required
    - `bounceRate` number, nullable, required
    - `pagesPerSession` number, nullable, required
    - `newVisitors` number, nullable, required
    - `returningVisitors` number, nullable, required
  - `aiReferral` object, required
    - `source` 'searchable' | 'ga4', required
    - `sourceError` string, nullable, required: `auth` or `unknown` when the GA4 read failed — figures are incomplete, not zero.
    - `totalSessions` number, required
    - `percentOfTotal` number, nullable, required: Null when not computable (GA4 numerator against an uninstalled-beacon denominator).
    - `newVisitors` number, required
    - `byPlatform` object[], required
      - `platform` string, required
      - `sessions` number, required
      - `visitors` number, required
  - `dateRange` object, required
    - `from` string, date-time, required
    - `to` string, date-time, required

- `429`: Rate limited. Usually the per-API-key REST limit (600 requests/minute); on Google-backed endpoints it can also relay an upstream Google rate limit. `Retry-After` (seconds) is present when the limit was applied by Searchable's own rate limiter; it may be absent when an upstream provider rate-limits.
