# Policy overview statistics

`GET /api/v1/policies/overview`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Aggregate counts of policy rules by status, phase, and action type. Requires the admin role.

Policy overview statistics

- PolicyOverviewStats
  - `total_rules` integer, required
  - `enabled_count` integer
  - `disabled_count` integer
  - `tentative_count` integer
  - `pre_phase_count` integer
  - `post_phase_count` integer
  - `action_counts` object: Count of each action type

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: The caller's role is not permitted to perform this action
