# Multipart Abort

`POST /upload/multipart/abort`

Abort multipart upload and cleanup.

Removes uploaded parts from S3 and cleans up state.

## Request body

- MultipartAbortRequest: Request to abort multipart upload.
  - `upload_id` string, required: Upload ID to abort
  - `discard_file` boolean: Also revoke the file row, if its upload never completed

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- MultipartAbortResponse: Response from multipart abort.
  - `status` string, required: 'aborted' on success

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
