# MeterMyDisclosure — enforce cumulative disclosure limits

`POST /v1/disclosures/manage`

Creates a counter-only disclosure meter and records retry-safe units under total, per-recipient, and per-category limits.

  - `per_category_limit` integer
  - `period_seconds` integer
  - `event_key` string
  - `recipient_fingerprint` string: A lowercase SHA-256 digest, with an optional sha256: prefix.
  - `category_fingerprint` string: A lowercase SHA-256 digest, with an optional sha256: prefix.
  - `units` integer

## Response `200`

Disclosure meter state or recording decision

## Other responses

- `401`: Paid API key required
- `422`: Invalid operation-specific input
