# TraceMyContext — anchor or inspect provenance

`POST /v1/context-traces/anchor`

Anchors context and parent digests with a processing stage. No context content is stored, and the anchor does not prove source truth or authorship. Production.

## Request body

  - `operation` 'anchor' | 'check', required
  - `control_id` string
  - `context_digest` string: A lowercase SHA-256 digest, with an optional sha256: prefix.
  - `parent_digests` Sha256Digest[]
  - `stage` string

## Response `200`

Provenance anchor or lookup

## Other responses

- `401`: Paid API key required
- `422`: Invalid operation-specific input
