# Update an article

`PATCH /articles/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.screvi.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.screvi.com/api/v1/articles/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Triage and metadata edits. `home_status` moves the article between the inbox, Later and the archive, exactly as the app does. `tags` replaces the tag set. The article body is not editable: it is shared between everyone who saved the same page. Requires the `write` scope.
