# Create a project

`POST /v1/developer/projects/`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create a new project with a title and optional description. Optionally provide a `style` object to set the visual direction — if omitted, the AI will choose a style based on the description and prompts. Creating a project automatically creates a default chat that you can send generation messages to.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request body or query parameters.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: Your API key is missing the required scope for this endpoint.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Wait and retry.
