# Poll run status

`GET /v1/developer/projects/{project_id}/chat/runs/{run_id}/`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Check the status of a generation run by its `run_id`. Returns the current status (`running`, `completed`, or `failed`). When the run is in a terminal state, the response includes the assistant's text reply and any screens that were created.

## Path parameters

- `project_id` integer, required
- `run_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Run status, including result if terminal.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: Your API key is missing the required scope for this endpoint.
- `404`: The requested resource doesn't exist or doesn't belong to your organization.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Wait and retry.
