# Scrape Google Local business listings

`POST /maps/google-local`

## Request

Runs a Google Local (`tbm=lcl`) search for `keyword` and returns up to ~20 businesses as JSON: `name`, `rating`, `reviews`, `price`, `category`, `address`, `phone`, `website`, `hours`, and a top `review_snippet`. `phone` and `website` are null when Google does not render them for that result - service businesses (plumbers, contractors) almost always carry both. Local results are location-sensitive - set `proxy_country` (and optionally `gl`/`hl`) to target a market.

## Query parameters

- `keyword` string, required: Search phrase, e.g. 'coffee shops in chicago' or 'plumbers near SW1A'.
- `proxy_country` string, nullable: Proxy country the request is sent from (ISO-2, e.g. 'US', 'GB'). Local results are location-sensitive, so pick the country you want results for.
- `hl` string: Google UI language, e.g. 'en', 'de', 'fr'.
- `gl` string, nullable: Google country of search, ISO-2 lowercase, e.g. 'us', 'de'.

## Response `200`

JSON with a `results` array of local businesses.

- `403`: Blocked by Google CAPTCHA after retries - try another proxy_country.
- `422`: Validation Error
- `502`: No local results collected (upstream block or proxy failure), or the call did not finish in time.
