# Scrape Yelp businesses (search + detail)

`POST /local/yelp`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.scrapeunblocker.com`
- URL: `https://api.scrapeunblocker.com/local/yelp`
- Auth: API key in header `x-scrapeunblocker-key`

Two modes. **Search** (`mode=search`): give `find_desc` (a keyword or category) and `find_loc` (a city/area) and get the businesses as JSON - `name`, `rating`, `reviewCount`, `priceRange`, `categories`, `address`, `neighborhoods`, `url`, `businessId`, `image` and `isAd`. Filter with `sort`, `price` (1-4) and `open_now`, and collect up to `max_results` across pages. **Detail** (`mode=detail`): give a business `url` and get a rich object - phone, full address, website, hours, attributes, categories, specialties, review highlights, photos and popular dishes.

## Query parameters

- `mode` string: 'search' (find businesses) or 'detail' (one business).
- `find_desc` string, nullable: Search keyword or category, e.g. 'coffee' or 'plumbers'.
- `find_loc` string, nullable: Location to search, e.g. 'San Francisco, CA' or '94109'.
- `url` string, nullable: Detail mode: a Yelp business URL or /biz alias, e.g. 'https://www.yelp.com/biz/gary-danko-san-francisco'.
- `sort` string: Search ordering: recommended, rating, review_count, distance.
- `price` string, nullable: Price filter 1-4 ($ to $$$$); combine like '1,2'.
- `open_now` boolean: Search: only businesses open now.
- `max_results` integer: Search: how many businesses to collect across pages (10 per page).
- `start` integer: Search: result offset to start from.
- `proxy_country` string, nullable: Proxy country the request is sent from (ISO-2, e.g. 'US', 'DE'). Defaults to US.

JSON with a `businesses` array (search) or a business object (detail).

- `400`: Invalid parameters.
- `422`: Validation Error
- `502`: Blocked by Yelp, no data returned, or the call did not finish in time.
