# Search Bing Images

`POST /images/bing-search`

## Request

Runs Bing Images for `q` in a real browser and returns the image results as JSON, in the same shape as `/images/google-search`. Every result carries `imageUrl` (the origin image, not a Bing thumbnail), `sourceDomain`, `sourcePageUrl`, `title`, `sourceName`, `thumbnailUrl`, `width`, `height` and `bingImagesUrl` (Bing's image viewer link). `pages` fetches up to 10 result pages of ~35 each; every page fetched is billed as one request.

## Query parameters

- `q` string, required: Image search term, e.g. 'eiffel tower'.
- `pages` integer: How many Bing Images result pages to fetch (1-10, ~35 results each). Each page fetched is billed as one request.
- `max_results` integer, nullable: Optional cap on the number of results returned (default: all results of the fetched pages).
- `proxy_country` string, nullable: Country to search from (ISO-2); sets the Bing market. Defaults to US.
- `language` string, nullable: Interface language (ISO-639-1, e.g. en, de). Defaults to en.

## Response `200`

JSON with a `results` array plus the query and counts.

- `400`: Invalid parameters.
- `422`: Validation Error
- `502`: Blocked by Bing, no image results returned, or the search did not finish in time.
