# Scrape Google Play app details and search

`POST /apps/google-play`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.scrapeunblocker.com`
- URL: `https://api.scrapeunblocker.com/apps/google-play`
- Auth: API key in header `x-scrapeunblocker-key`

Scrapes the Google Play Store. `mode=app` with `app_id` (e.g. `com.whatsapp`) returns one app's full detail as JSON: title, developer and contact, category, `score`/`ratings`/`reviews` and the star `histogram`, `installs`, price / in-app purchases, content rating, description, screenshots, icon, `version`, `updated`, what's new and similar apps. `mode=search` with `q` returns matching apps (package id, title, developer, score, installs, icon, price). `hl`/`gl` set language and store country.

## Query parameters

- `mode` string: What to scrape: app, search, reviews. 'reviews' is not available yet.
- `app_id` string, nullable: Play package id for mode=app, e.g. 'com.whatsapp'.
- `q` string, nullable: Search term for mode=search, e.g. 'vpn'.
- `max_results` integer: How many apps to return for mode=search (one page).
- `hl` string: Language code (ISO), e.g. 'en'.
- `gl` string: Store country (ISO-2), e.g. 'us'.
- `proxy_country` string, nullable: Proxy country the request is sent from (ISO-2, e.g. 'US', 'DE'). Leave blank to let the API pick.

JSON app object (mode=app) or apps array (mode=search).

- `400`: Invalid parameters, or mode=reviews (not available yet).
- `422`: Validation Error
- `502`: Blocked by Google Play, app not found, or the call did not finish in time.
