# Get place details

`GET /v1/twitter/geo/places/{place_id}`

Get detailed information about a specific geographic place. Returns comprehensive place data including full name, country, place type, bounding box coordinates, and additional attributes. Use place IDs obtained from the geo search endpoint.

Successfully retrieved place details.

- PlaceData: Geographic place data.
  - `id` string, required: Unique place identifier.
  - `name` string, required: Place name.
  - `full_name` string, nullable: Full place name including region.
  - `country` string, nullable: Country name.
  - `country_code` string, nullable: ISO country code.
  - `place_type` 'city' | 'country' | 'admin' | 'poi' | 'neighborhood', nullable: Type of place.
  - `url` string, nullable: Twitter URL for the place.
  - `bounding_box` object, nullable: Geographical bounding box coordinates.
    - `type` string
    - `coordinates` array[]: Array of coordinate arrays defining the bounding box.
      - array[]
        - number[]
  - `attributes` object, nullable: Additional place attributes.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication failed. The API key is missing, invalid, or expired.
- `402`: Insufficient credits. Your account balance has been exhausted. Purchase more credits at https://scrapebadger.com/dashboard/billing.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Too many requests in a given time period. Implement exponential backoff and retry.
