# Write the POT's «about», or go back to the generated one

`PATCH /pots/{pot_id}/about`

`{"text": "..."}`: the owner's own words (at most 300 characters), never rewritten by the engine; clears `suggestion_pending`. Refused (422 `ABOUT_INVALID`, `why`: `empty`, `long`, `unsafe`, `names`) with an email, a link, a long number, quotes, a question or what looks like a person's name: everyone with access reads it.

`{"source": "generated"}`: back to the generated text, written now from the POT's themes (one model call, billed as `pot_about`; the free template when the month's tokens are spent or the model fails; `text` null while the POT has no themes yet).

The `description` (the extraction mission) is never touched.

Successful Response

- POTAboutDetail: ``GET /pots/{pot_id}/about``: the view plus the themes it comes from. The themes passed the engine's privacy filter (no names, contacts or masked values; the raw ones are never stored), but they are the POT's subjects word for word: the API has no role below the workspace key, so an integrator shows them only to whoever manages the POT.
  - `text` string, nullable: None: nothing written yet
  - `source` 'generated' | 'manual', nullable
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `suggestion_pending` boolean: A manual text whose POT has since gained a subject it does not cover: the owner may write it again or go back to the generated one.
  - `language` string, nullable
  - `themes` POTAboutTheme[]
    - `theme` string, required
    - `count` integer, required

## Other responses

- `404`: POT not found
- `409`: The about kept changing meanwhile; try again
- `422`: Neither or both fields, or a text that cannot be kept
- `503`: No storage for the about in this deployment
