# V1 Public Get Author

`GET /v1/authors/{author_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.scholarfeed.org` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.scholarfeed.org/v1/authors/{author_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Get author details by stable OpenAlex id (``A123…``) or legacy integer PK.

Returns author profile with h-index, rank, top papers, and research topics.

Rate limit: 30/minute per API key.
