# List the workspace's venues

`GET /api/v1/venues`

The locations this workspace operates, with the currency their money is reported in.

`orderingBaseUrl` is the origin guest ordering pages are served from, and it is
DEPLOYMENT-WIDE rather than per venue: every venue's pages live on the one request origin, and
the per-venue part of a guest address is the scanned code's link id. It is reported on each
venue because that is where an integrator looks for it, and is `null` when the deployment has
no request origin configured — never a dead link.

`demoMode` is reported so a report can knowingly exclude a venue that is being demonstrated
rather than trading.

Scoped to `analytics:read`, like the rest of this block. A sandbox (`sndr_test_`) key is
refused with `test_mode_unsupported`: venues and orders are real operational data and there is
no sandbox copy of them.

## Other responses

- `401`: No key, a malformed key, an unknown key, a revoked key or an expired key. Deliberately one response for all five: telling the caller which applies would make the endpoint an oracle for enumerating valid keys.
- `403`: Either the plan does not include API access (`plan_required`) or the key does not carry the required scope (`missing_scope`). The credential itself is valid in both cases.
- `429`: Per-key limit reached. Retry-After gives the seconds remaining in the window.
