# Redirect to the current code destination (canonical)

`GET /{slug}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://scanduro.com`
- URL: `https://scanduro.com/{slug}`
- Auth: none required

The canonical, human-facing shape: `scandu.ro/a7Kg21`. This is what the QR
payload encodes and what the dashboard hands out.

Because short links live at the root, a slug and a site path share one
namespace. A reserved word (`api`, `pricing`, `assets`, anything containing a
dot, and roughly a hundred others) is never issued and is served by the web
application instead of the resolver, so this route cannot shadow the site.
Creating a code with a reserved slug returns **409 `slug_reserved`** rather
than quietly substituting a different one — a substituted slug can end up
printed before anyone notices.

On the HOSTED-PAGES origin this same path shape renders a hosted page instead,
and the resolver is never reached there. See the `Pages` tag.
