# Remove a User from the Account

`DELETE /accounts/{account}/actions/remove/{user}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://example.scalr.io/api/iacp/v3`
- URL: `https://example.scalr.io/api/iacp/v3/accounts/{account}/actions/remove/{user}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Removes a user from the account. This revokes all access policies
and team memberships associated with the account for that user.

## Path parameters

- `account` string, required
- `user` string, required

## Response `204`

Successfully removed.

## Other responses

- `403`: User unauthorized to perform this action.
- `404`: The user or account not found.
- `4XX`: Client error.
- `5XX`: Server error.
