# Mint an installation token.

`POST /v1/integrations/github/installations/{installation_id}/token`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.scalix.world`
- URL: `https://api.scalix.world/v1/integrations/github/installations/{installation_id}/token`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns a short-lived GitHub App installation access token for an
installation owned by the caller's project.

## Path parameters

- `installation_id` integer, required

## Response `200`

A short-lived installation access token

- TokenResponse: A short-lived GitHub installation access token.
  - `token` string, required
  - `expires_at` string, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials
- `404`: Installation not found or not owned by this project
- `500`: Internal error
