# Calculate tax for a charge.

`POST /v1/billing/tax/calculate`

## Request

Applies the org's tax-info settings (GST/VAT, reverse charge, LUT,
exemption) to a pre-tax amount. The stored tax profile fills
omitted body fields only for a caller authenticated as that
tenant; an unauthenticated caller gets the pure computation from
the body fields.
