# Change the plan (in-place upgrade/downgrade).

`POST /v1/billing/subscription/{tenant_id}/change`

## Request

## Path parameters

- `tenant_id` string, required

## Request body

- ChangePlanRequest: In-place plan change request.
  - `new_plan` string, required: Target plan id. The console sends `price_id` — accepted as an alias.

## Response `200`

Plan changed (or downgrade scheduled)

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Not your org
- `404`: No subscription
- `500`: Internal error
