# Validate Google Ads integration

`POST /v3/google-ads/destinations/{id}/validate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.scalev.com`
- URL: `https://api.scalev.com/v3/google-ads/destinations/{id}/validate`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `authorization`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `https://api.scalev.com/v3/oauth/authorize`
    - Token URL: `https://api.scalev.com/v3/oauth/token` scopes: `google_ads:update`

Requires the `google_ads:update` scope. Sends a synthetic request using Google Data Manager validateOnly. Records no conversion, changes no delivery state, and does not prove attribution.

## Request body

- object
  - `event_name` string: Purchase or the exact name of a configured event mapping, including a disabled mapping. Records no conversion and does not enable the mapping.

## Response `200`

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not Found
- `502`: The provider could not complete the request.
