# Mark an issue read

`POST /issues/{issueId}/read`

## Request

Mark an issue read for the calling user, up to its latest activity, as opening the issue page does. Only a person has read state; a key is refused. Answers the user's read cursor.

- `issueId` string, uuid, required: Issue to mark read.
