# Run an automation

`POST /automations/{automationId}/run`

Start a manual run of a customer automation using its current saved configuration. Requires an organization administrator with project settings permission; ordinary secret keys cannot start manual runs.

## Path parameters

- `automationId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- object
  - `projectId` string, uuid — Project that owns the automation.

## Response `200`
