# Save links

`POST /api/v1/saves`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://savehq.app`
- URL: `https://savehq.app/api/v1/saves`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Save up to 1,000 links. Links already on the board are skipped.

## Request body

- object
  - `url` string
  - `urls` string[]
  - `text` string: Any text with links in it
  - `items` object[]
    - `url` string, required
    - `note` string
    - `title` string
    - `collection` string
  - `note` string
  - `collection` string: A list name, created if new

## Response `201`

Saved: found, added, duplicates, skipped, alreadySavedFiled (links already saved, filed into the collection), alreadySavedKept (left where the person put them), alreadySavedChangeId (undoes the filing), board_url

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, expired or revoked API key or token
- `422`: No links in the request
- `429`: Over 60 requests a minute for this person; retry after 60 seconds
