# Uninstall an app currently installed on the device

`POST /sessions/{sessionId}/device/uninstallApp`

Removes an installed app from the device. Requires either a bundleId for iOS or a packageName for Android,
but not both. The request body must contain exactly one of these identifiers.

## Path parameters

- `sessionId` string, required

## Request body

- union: Requires either a 'bundleId' for iOS or a 'packageName' for Android, but not both.
  - object
    - `bundleId` string, required: The bundle identifier of the iOS app to uninstall.
  - object
    - `packageName` string, required: The package name of the Android app to uninstall.

## Response `204`

Command executed successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `404`: Not Found
