# Get account balance

`GET /v1/account/balance`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sandbase.ai`
- URL: `https://api.sandbase.ai/v1/account/balance`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the balance and optional credit settings for the organization that owns the API key.

## Response `200`

Organization balance

- AccountBalance
  - `org_id` string, uuid, required
  - `balance` string, required: Current organization balance in USD, serialized as an exact decimal string.
  - `credit_limit` string, nullable, required: Optional USD credit limit. Null means no credit limit.
  - `alert_threshold` string, nullable, required: Optional USD balance alert threshold.

## Other responses

- `401`: The API key did not resolve an organization
- `402`: API key spending limit exceeded
- `403`: API key scope does not authorize this endpoint
- `404`: Organization not found
