# Send feedback

`POST /v1/feedback`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.samva.dev`
- URL: `https://api.samva.dev/v1/feedback`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Tells Samva what was confusing, broken, or missing in the API. Programs and coding agents can call it the moment something goes wrong, naming the operation and resource involved. Samva's team reads every report; the answer is a receipt, not a reply.

## Request body

- SendFeedback
  - `message` string, required: What happened and what you expected, in plain language (at most 4000 characters).
  - `category` 'bug' | 'confusing' | 'missing' | 'other', nullable: `bug`: the API behaved wrongly. `confusing`: a response, error, or doc was hard to act on. `missing`: a capability or field you needed does not exist. `other`: anything else.
  - `context` FeedbackContext
    - `operation` string, nullable: The operation the report is about, as an SDK method, MCP tool, CLI command, or `METHOD /path` (for example `POST /v1/messages`).
    - `resourceId` string, nullable: The id of the resource involved, such as a message or domain id.

## Response `201`

FeedbackReceipt

- FeedbackReceipt
  - `id` string, required
  - `createdAt` string, required

## Other responses

- `401`: UnauthorizedError
- `403`: ForbiddenError
- `422`: ValidationError
- `500`: InternalError
- `504`: GatewayTimeoutError
