# Remove a suppressed address

`DELETE /v1/email/suppressions/{id}`

## Request

- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Deletes a suppression so this organization can send to the address again. If the deletion cannot complete, it fails rather than reporting success, and it is safe to retry. Deliverability caveat: a bounce or complaint suppression records a real delivery failure, and sending to the address again risks the reputation damage the suppression prevented.
