# Set the default sending domain

`POST /v1/email/domains/{id}/default`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.samva.dev`

- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Marks a verified domain as the organization's default sending domain, atomically clearing any previous default. Provisioning and inbound routing prefer the default domain when several apply. It does not choose the `from` of omitted-`from` sends; those use the organization default sender.
