# List all equipment

`GET /fleet/equipment`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.samsara.com`
- URL: `https://api.samsara.com/fleet/equipment`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns a list of all equipment in an organization.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer
- `after` string
- `parentTagIds` string[]
- `tagIds` string[]

## Response `200`

List of all equipment objects, and pagination information

- EquipmentListResponse: List of all equipment objects, and pagination information.
  - `data` Equipment[], required: List of equipment objects.
    - `assetSerial` string: An equipment identification number.
    - `externalIds` CarrierProposedAssignmentDriverAllOf2ExternalIds: The [external IDs](https://developers.samsara.com/docs/external-ids) for the given object.
    - `id` string, required: Unique Samsara ID for the equipment.
    - `installedGateway` EquipmentInstalledGateway
      - `model` string: The model of the installed Samsara gateway.
      - `serial` string: The serial of the installed Samsara gateway.
    - `name` string: Name of the equipment.
    - `notes` string: Notes about a piece of equipment. Samsara supports a maximum of 255 chars.
    - `tags` TagTinyResponse[]: An array of all tag mini-objects that are associated with the given equipment.
      - `id` string: ID of the tag.
      - `name` string: Name of the tag.
      - `parentTagId` string: If this tag is part a hierarchical tag tree, this is the ID of the parent tag, otherwise this will be omitted.
  - `pagination` PaginationResponse, required: Pagination parameters.
    - `endCursor` string, string, required: Cursor identifier representing the last element in the response. This value should be used in conjunction with a subsequent request's 'after' query parameter. This may be an empty string if there are no more pages left to view.
    - `hasNextPage` boolean, required: True if there are more pages of results immediately available after this endCursor.
