# \[beta\] List active asset assignments.

`GET /fleet/assets/assignments`

## Request

List active asset assignments for the authorized organization. This endpoint only returns currently active assignments. During Beta, response ordering is implementation-defined and will stabilize before GA when database-backed pagination lands.

 <b>Rate limit:</b> 5 requests/sec (learn more about rate limits <a href="https://developers.samsara.com/docs/rate-limits" target="_blank">here</a>).

  - `data` AssetAssignmentResponseObjectResponseBody[], required: List of active asset assignments.
    - `asset` AssetResponseResponseBody, required: Asset that the location readings are tied to.
      - `externalIds` object: A map of external ids
      - `id` string, required: ID of the asset
    - `assignee` AssetAssignmentAssigneeResponseObjectResponseBody, required: Assignee for an asset assignment.
      - `assigneeType` 'unknown' | 'driver' | 'asset' | 'geofence' | 'job', required: Type of the assignee. Valid values: `unknown`, `driver`, `asset`, `geofence`, `job`
      - `externalIds` object: A map of external ids for the assignee.
      - `id` string, required: ID of the assignee.
    - `endTime` string, date-time: The end time of the assignment in RFC 3339 format, if the assignment has ended.
    - `expectedEndTime` string, date-time: The expected end time of the assignment in RFC 3339 format, if one was set at creation. Values may be in the past for listed active assignments whose expected return has elapsed.
    - `startTime` string, date-time, required: The start time of the assignment in RFC 3339 format.
  - `pagination` GoaPaginationResponseResponseBody, required: Pagination parameters.
    - `endCursor` string, required: Cursor identifier representing the last element in the response. This value should be used in conjunction with a subsequent request's 'after' query parameter. This may be an empty string if there are no more pages left to view.
    - `hasNextPage` boolean, required: True if there are more pages of results immediately available after this endCursor.
