# Share Card

`POST /api/newspulse/cards/{card_id}/share`

Log a share event (fire-and-forget from the client).

Clients build the URL themselves from the card's `share_path` (see
cardShareUrl in packages/shared) so the native share sheet opens inside
the tap's user-gesture window — awaiting this call first would lose it on
Safari. Only published cards have a public page, so anything else 404s.
