# Create Assessment

Create a new assessment — current_affairs, adaptive, or seed-based.

Success is recorded by each path's ``assessment.created`` (with how long
the user waited); a request that ends without a set is recorded here as
``assessment.create_failed``, so slow and failed starts are both in
v2.product_events.
