# LEGACY: read a pre-vault wallet's plaintext key once, to migrate it

`GET /api/v1/wallets/{id}/reveal`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://saltapp.ai`

- Auth: API key in header `api-key`

Only serves a row that predates client-side encryption; every migrated wallet answers 410 here.

OK. Plaintext key material -- legacy rows only.

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `410`: This wallet's keys are end-to-end encrypted and can only be read by your device.
