# The aggregated Posts stream across every profile room

`GET /api/v1/posts`

## Request

  - API key in header `api-key`
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://saltapp.ai/oauth2/authorize`, token URL `https://saltapp.ai/api/oauth2/token`, scopes: `chat`)

`following` (default): every profile room the caller is a real (non-reader, non-observer) member of, plus their own. `everyone`: every profile room in the system whose owner isn't hidden. Both exclude an author the caller has blocked, or who has blocked the caller. Newest first, keyset-paged on the same seq cursor every other listing in this app pages on -- `before` names a post's id, resolved to its seq server-side. `unseen_count` is always computed from the FOLLOWING scope regardless of which scope was requested, capped at 99.

    - `card_image_url` string: The post's 1200x630 PNG unfurl card (GET /posts/{id}/card.png, a 302 to the immutable digest URL). Present only when the post has a public page (a public author, not a reply).
    - `following` boolean: Whether the caller follows this post's author (a real, non-reader member of their profile room).
    - `is_reply` boolean: Present and true only on a reply row (a reply is its author's own post, or a legacy reply in the parent's room), shown with the post it answers. Absent on ordinary posts.
    - `parent` object: The post a reply answers, so a reply is never an orphan. Present only on a reply in an unencrypted profile room whose parent is plaintext (a new-model reply's parent may sit in any unencrypted profile room); absent everywhere else (a normal or encrypted chat's reply stays a bare reply_to_message_id). author and excerpt are null when the parent is deleted.
