# Confirm a posts-by-email subscription

`POST /api/v1/post_subscriptions/confirm`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://saltapp.ai`
- URL: `https://saltapp.ai/api/v1/post_subscriptions/confirm`
- Auth: none required

Public. The token from the confirmation mail: valid 48 hours, works once. Starts the subscription from now (no backfill) and returns the `manage_token` the later mails carry. 410 `This link has expired. Subscribe again from their profile.` when the token is unknown, used or old.

  - `cadence` 'instant' | 'daily' | 'weekly': instant = as they happen, daily or weekly = a digest at 8am in the subscriber's time zone (weekly on Monday).
