# Confirm the new keyring is stored

`DELETE /api/v1/linked_devices/self/sealed_key`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://saltapp.ai`
- URL: `https://saltapp.ai/api/v1/linked_devices/self/sealed_key`
- Auth: API key in header `api-key`

Records the generation the device now holds (it may send again) and, for a browser, makes the fresh JWT its own and denylists the old one. A second ack is 204. Announced on the `linked_devices` live topic.

Acknowledged.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `404`: Nothing pending and the device is behind: `no_pending_key` with needs_relink.
