# Remove a device

`DELETE /api/v1/devices/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://saltapp.ai`
- URL: `https://saltapp.ai/api/v1/devices/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `api-key`

Owner or root only. Ends every live session on it first, then removes the account.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `204`

Removed.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `404`: Unknown, not yours, or the feature is off.
