# Refuse a link

`POST /api/v1/device_links/{id}/deny`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://saltapp.ai`

- Auth: API key in header `api-key`

Only a pending, unexpired link: otherwise 409 `{status}`. Not available to a `sat_` or `sld_` bearer.

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

Denied.

  - `status` 'pending' | 'approved' | 'claimed' | 'denied' | 'expired'

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `404`: Unknown link.
- `409`: Not pending, or expired.
