# Read the hand-off trail for a chat

`GET /api/v1/chats/{id}/handoffs`

## Request

`summary=1` returns {active, previous, start, count, hops (newest 50)}; without it, the full paginated array (newest first, `last=` cursors by hop id, capped at 200 per page).
