# Set the caller's own look for an agent

`PUT /api/v1/agents/{id}/my_character`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://saltapp.ai`

- Auth: API key in header `api-key`

The drawing (`svg`, run through the same sanitiser as an agent's own character) the CALLER sees in place of the agent's. Stored on the caller's own preference row with origin `personal` and the last five earlier drawings as `history`; never on the agent, its card or its DID, and never visible to anyone else.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `404`: Agent not found.
- `422`: The drawing was refused; the error is one plain sentence.
